Grad Dress Glamour

A while back, when it was still frozen and white outside, I had the pleasure of doing a very special Grad Dress Session with this beauty, Jess.

And we made a little video, too! Click the link or just look down there, at the bottom of the post :)

Jess is an incredible young woman who just lights up a room. She is an actress (among a myriad of other talents) and has got her sights on pursuing a career on the stage. I love that she is so passionate about the arts and so I really wanted to do something special for her session to show that part of her personality. I approached the Banff Centre and they were kind enough to invite us to shoot inside one of their theatres (so much fun!!)

The talented Michaela Howie, from Simply Me, came along and created the perfect glamorous look.

After our time at the theatre was up, we headed back to my studio in Canmore, where Michaela whipped up the most amazing braid crown so that we could do some studio portraits, capturing Jess's classic, dreamy beauty.

And, since Jess is a true Banff girl, we had to head outside into the most biting, cold wind EVER, to show off that amazing red dress against a majestic mountain backdrop :)
